Description:What follows is a series descriptions and links for Internet sites that I have worked on. They cover work that has been completed in the last two years.

MCI Business Systems-This Intranet may be the most interesting that I have worked on. Working with two Information Design and Technology graduate students, we created an information catalog for the financial services side of of a major corporation. The site included Spyder/Net Dynamics technology and ma ssive amounts of MCI information. The purpose was to make financial information more accessible for those who needed it.

The site was deemed, "the best thing to come out of this department!" It has proven to be extremely functional and a quality design product. The project was directed by Dr. Greg Van Hoosier-Carey and Dr. Alan Rauch.

Necessary to the success of the site were advanced HTML skills, site design, CGI interface construction, teamwork, usability, and functionality studies.

HAPtech-This is a current project that is very much in "beta" form at the moment. The project is a Human Anatomy & Physiology on- line classroom. It includes course notes, resources, interactive projects, and other learning tools. My work has included artistic design and general production.

Keys for the successful completion of this site are excellent site management skills, general management, Java implementation, UNIX, and HTML skills.

Georgia Tech Admissions Web site- This is one of my earliest sites though some managed work continued throug h 1996. It represents one of the first interactive on-line applications for college admissions. The application, viewbook, and "cover" were all produced to give Tech Admissions an on-l ine presence that conveyed accurate, up to date information for high school students interested in the school. The application itself provides an extension to the already existing Apply-By-Computer interface. Results have been as expected: students who apply via the WWW have higher test scores and GPA's and represent a more diverse mix than the normal applicant pool.

The success of this site was dependant on complete knowledge of HTML, understanding differences in users, site design, and CGI programming.

Citizen Action National Web site-Having been hired to manage the database, web design was a secondary concern of mine with Citizen Actio n. However, much of the overall look and feel is based on a design and work of my own. The site acts as a jumping off point for many suborganizations. Information was to be vast yet usable. Site continuity was a constant challenge.

Necessary to the success of the site were an advanced understanding of site navigation, graphical and textual page design, and tolerance in the work place.
